I am a painter based in Mauritius, where I have lived for over thirteen years. I studied at the Academy of Arts in St Petersburg, Russia, and over time found myself drawn outdoors, following light, atmosphere and the quiet character of the landscape.

I paint mostly en plein air, working primarily in watercolour for its transparency and ability to hold fleeting moments. Acrylic, gouache and drawing remain an essential part of my studio practice.
What interests me most are simple, often overlooked things — sunlight filtering through leaves, reflections trembling on water, the warmth of a dusty road or the cool shade beneath trees. I am always looking for that brief, luminous impression — something that cannot be held for long, but can be felt.

Through my work, I try to translate these moments into something lasting.
